The updated product will provide more detailed information on soil characteristics such as soil depth, texture, chemical and other physical properties, and productivity potentials.

A seamless digital coverage of the soil survey mapping for the county which will be available to the public via the internet.

Improved management interpretations for agriculture, resource conservation, and land use planning.

The updated soil survey will be available over the internet through the Web Soil Survey website as portions of the survey are completed. This will make soil data much more accessible to users.
